   When using the portable edge banding machine for production operation, the moisture content of the solid wood edge sealing material should not be too high, it should be stored in a cool and dry room, the substrate requires no dust, the moisture content is 8-10%, and the edge banding is provided. The force perpendicular to the feeding direction, at this time, because the glue is not completely cured, the bonding strength is not high, and the tail portion is easy to loosen and is not sticky. The quality of the edge banding affects the edge sealing effect. When the quality is good and the thick edge banding is used for sealing, the sealing roller of the edge banding machine should be adjusted to a better position, and the easy problem is that the pressure is too tight.
   Since the edge band is slightly longer than the workpiece, when the nip roll is pressed against the growing portion of the edge band, the edge seal of the product sealed by the side band is tight, and the gap of the product sealed by the edge band with poor quality is large. There is an obvious black line. When the portable edge banding machine is trimming, it is easy to scrape off the surface on the surface. The thick edge banding is viewed from the cross section. The middle of the glued surface should be slightly concave than the two sides. The sealing edge of the product is tighter and the effect is good.
   The amount of hot melt adhesive should be such that the glue is slightly extruded outside the glue part, too large, there is a black line at the edge of the seal, which affects the appearance; too small, the glue strength is not enough, in order to check whether the film is continuous, transparent The hard PVC is used for testing; it can also be sealed with a common edge banding. When the silicone is not cooled, the edge band is torn off for inspection.
   For the manufacturer of the edge banding machine without the front milling device, the cutting quality of the semi-finished product to be sealed also affects the edge sealing effect. In order to prevent the product from being blasted, the manufacturer will use a nicker saw (commonly known as a small saw blade) when cutting. The effect after cutting should be that the saw blade can be seen at the section but it is not felt when touched. When the small saw blade marks are too deep, the seal is not strong, and a black line can be seen at the edge of the seal to even see the gap, which is too shallow and easy to explode.
   There are some problems and malfunctions in the use of the portable edge banding machine. Common faults are:
   1, electrical failure. Including the host stop, the temperature is not fast, the program is disordered, etc., not eliminated in time, will burn the motor and heating tube, and even damage the entire mechanical system. Mainly check the electrical control box, motor, heating tube, delay device, etc. during maintenance.
   2, the gas path is faulty. Including gas valve failure, air leakage, low air pressure, cutting knife, feeding does not work, etc.mainly check the integrity of various pneumatic components, replacement parts can be carried out under the guidance of the manufacturer's technical staff.
   3, mechanical failure. There are mainly transmission failures, uneven glue coating, feeding failure and cutter failure, etc.mainly checking the integrity and firm parts of the mechanical parts, and whether the transmission parts are offset.
4, bonding failure. Such as sticking, deviation, entrainment, etc., this is a comprehensive fault, related to the rubber shaft, edge banding, sol, substrate and operation. Such failures may occur alternately or in a single occurrence, depending on the situation.
